Food is very authentic and very tasty, service is good, and the ambience could be better. The prices are fair, you can't go wrong, try it.
The food is incredible!! Employees are super friendly and attentive, I ordered a botana, tacos, and aguas frescas to go and they brought me chips, salsas, and lime to snack on while I waited. They had the BEST charro beans I've had in my life. I cannot recommend this place enough and will be eating here every time I visit home.
The first text mex I experienced since I've moved here. Had a few other good ones. But always come back here. It's a simple, friendly, fast, and affordable good dining experience.
Good food down home atmosphere. It is a great place where they don't look at me funny when I try to order in Spanish.
Los Fresnos doesn't have a lot of restaurants but if you want authentic Mexican food I definitely recommend this place. The fajita by far the best in town. Great service. They could work a bit better in the phone service but that's is the price one pays when they are so busy to attend to their clients.
Casual, "shack across the border" type of atmosphere with delicious food and reasonable prices. We like to dine there because it's usually pretty quiet, but they seem to do quite a takeout business. We get the beef fajitas. A 1/2 kilo feeds E and I with leftovers. It comes with a yummy grilled onion, delicious charro beans, delightfully thin and hot corn tortillas, chips, pico and limes. We have been coming here for a few years now. The food has always been good, but the last few visits it has been just so flavorful with everything cooked perfectly! The fresh-squeezed Limonada is on point too. Check it out!
Best Mexican restaurant ever. I'm from Houston, and I drive 5-6 hours just to eat this. I definitely recommend their fresh squeeze lemonade. Me and my girlfriend got the 1/2 Kilo of Fajita; in which there are still leftovers. Their frijoles charros are great, actually makes great dip for the chips. The furnishings of the restaurant could use some improvement, but the environment does not represent the food and service. The owner knows me by now because I'm probably his only Asian customer, but nonetheless he is still a very nice person. The cost of food for the portion that you get is definitely worth it. The Botana is definitely a bang for your buck; depending on which one you get it serves 3-6 people and the price ranges from $25-$40. Do not hesitate to come here and eat.
